About the Speaker
Mr. Fawad Alam has completed his Bachelors in Computer Science from University of Karachi in 2003. He started his career as a Software Engineer at BCI New Media, Karachi. Mr. Alam has strong analytical, digitizing and project management skills. He moved to United Kingdom in 2005 and there he got chance to work as Business Intelligence Manager in an automotive industry. Mr. Alam also initiated new avenues to boost business on different platforms like eBay, Amazon. He has strong grip on ERP, CRM and other digital platforms and was part of the team to implement ERP in the organization. During his stay in United Kingdom he earned his MBA from University of Wales. Mr. Alam has over 10 years working experience in automotive sector in United Kingdom. After his return in 2015 he engaged as a digital manager and then working as Technology and Management Consultant at Cosmos Group of Companies.
Mr. Alam is passionate about conveying what he acquired during 20 years through his experience and engaged himself as visiting faculty member at different Universities in Karachi, Pakistan. His areas of expertise are Business & Data Analytics, Cloud Computing, Technology and Risk Management, Enterprise Resource Planning, Simulation & Modeling, Forecasting, Operations Management, Risk & Decision Support Systems. His thirst of knowledge pushed him to complete his MPhil and now Mr. Alam is pursuing his PhD in Business Intelligence from University of Karachi.
